2012 Cadillac Escalade IV EXT?
February 4, 2008
Pictured is the GMC Denali XT concept with a 2007 Escalade grille and headlights. Could this be the future direction for full-size SUVs? Being that gas is becoming an issue, it very well could be. The wheel base is 123.4 inches compared to the Escalade’s 116″ and EXT’s 130″. So it’s still big. It rides on a unibody structure. Read on for more details… Read more

In case you didn’t know - while the CTS may compete with the BMW 3-Series and Mercedes C-Class on price, it’s sized more like a 5-Series and E-Class. Read more

Beginning in early June of 2009, the Lansing Grand River plant will begin producing between 15,000 and 20,000 units of the new Cadillac CTC, the coupe version of the Cadillac CTS. Technically, “this vehicle really wasn’t supposed to exist”, said Ed Welburn, GM’s vice president of Global Design. Northstar Ultra Program Cancelled
January 22, 2008
So, the Northstar is finished. Unless I’m mistaken, Cadillacs in 2010 will have the very last Northstar engines. Cadillac says its because of CAFE - but I’m having some trouble believing that. By 2020, automobile companies must have their average gas consumption for all vehicles at 35 miles per gallon. If a company has too many gas guzzling engines, they’ll never meet that mark.
