Cadillac DT7 May Be Scrapped Altogether

Plans for the STS/DTS replacement, the Cadillac DT7, are being reconsidered this month. In other words, the decision as to whether it will be delayed or axed altogether is being made before encountering major engineering costs. If production is to go on, it’ll likely arrive in 2012 as a 2013 model - priced somewhere between $45k and $60k. What do we know so far about the DT7? Read more

Behold the second generation Cadillac SRX - presented by Rick Wagoner himself. As you can see, it looks a lot more like a Crossover Utility Vehicle (CUV) than a station wagon. We have the upcoming CTS wagon variant to thank for that. So Cadillac finally has a normal looking CUV. Read more

It appears as if GM’s first hydrogen fuel cell car, the Cadillac Provoq, may be available for purchase sooner than we thought. The Cadillac Provoq fuel cell concept is the latest example of GM’s groundbreaking E-Flex propulsion system, combining the new fifth-generation fuel cell system and a lithium-ion battery to produce an electrically driven vehicle that uses no petroleum and has no emission other than water. The concept’s fifth-generation fuel cell technology is half the size of its predecessor, yet it has been developed to produce more power and performance. Read more
